Walter Röhrl has been the epitome of rally sports for decades and has maintained this image even after the conclusion of his professional career. In 1975, he convincingly won his first of 14 World Rally Championship races, establishing himself at the pinnacle of the sport. Walter Röhrl remains the only German Rally World Champion to this day. During his rally career, Röhrl competed in races from Monte Carlo to the United States, representing various manufacturers including Ford, Fiat, Mercedes, Opel, Lancia, Audi, and Porsche.
